Apple’s iPad 3 with AMOLED Display To Reveal This Year!
According to recent tech rumors, Apple’s Chief Operating Officer Tim cook has visited South Korea last week to negotiate with Samsung higher authorities for incorporating their AMOLED display in Apple’s third generation iPad- iPad 3.

This claim has its roots in The Korea Herald’s recent story by citing OLED_info.com. The source also describes that this iPad 3 with AMOLED Display would release by the end of the year.
The report also reveals that Apple has offered a “Handsome Advance” to Samsung for getting Active-matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode (AMOLED) Displays for assuring an in time supply to incorporate these displays in upcoming iPad 3. At present, iPad 2 has the same LCD screen display that was used in original iPad.
Samsung modern AMOLED screen displays offer very brighter screens, less sunlight reflection and reduced power consumption as well. It means that AMOLED display has a significant edge over the traditional existing LCD displays on iPad 2.
The report discloses that Apple’s recent move to incorporate AMOLED screens in its next generation iPad 3 would be a great shock for LG, the manufacturer of the iPad 2’s LCD displays. Apple is probably shifting to AMOLED displays due to light leak issue on LG’s LCD displays on iPad 2 models.
The idea of an iPad tablet duly equipped with Samsung’s AMOLED display is not a new one, since this idea was “IN” well before the release of existing iPad 2 model and it was much rumored that Apple’s second generation iPad 2 would grab AMOLED technology. Apple is also said to bring Super Retina Display in its upcoming iPad 3. Retina Display was incorporated by Apple in iPhone 4 with a claim that iPhone 4’s display acquire 326 pixel per inch screen resolution that is best fir for human viewing pleasure.
