Apple Introduces New 4th Generation iPad & 7.9-Inch iPad Mini: Features Roundup!

After introducing new iMac and Macbook Pro at today’s ongoing Special Media Event, here comes the number of iPad. Apple firstly started by giving facts about iPad like they just sold their 100 millionth iPad. They also declared that 91% of all tablet web traffic comes from the iPad. Apple says that iPad is just rocking among all fields in this world whether it is related to Education or Business. Now Apple introduces the new 4th Generation iPad which it refers as a “powerhouse”. Accorfingly, the new 4G iPad is based upon A6X chip which doubles the CPU and graphics performance. The front-facing FaceTime camera has been upgraded to 720p. One of the major updates on the 4G iPad are new connectors, for SD reading, as well as USB, HDMI and VGA adapters.
Alongwith the 4G iPad, Apple also released a smaller 7-inch model of the iPad which is incredibly slim and just looks like a larger iPod; It’s 7.2mm thick, 1/4 thicker than the fourth-gen iPad and weighs around .68 pounds, 1/2 lighter than the 4G iPad. Well the smaller iPad Mini comes with the same resolution as that of the iPad 2 but now the pixels come across a screen of 7.9-inches.
Apple says that talking about performance, iPad Mini inherits much from the iPad 2. Accordingly, the new iPad Mini features Dual-core A5 processor, FaceTime HD camera and 5-megapixel iSight camera on the back with 1080p recording.
