Apple Introduces New iPod Nano 7G & iPod Touch 5G at Today’s Media Event!

Apple’s iPods have always been a great hit. “iPod and music are part of the DNA of the company. We love music.”, says Apple. Now Apple is introducing the new “7th Generation iPod Nano”. It has a 2.5-inch display with the iPhone like home button on front. It’s 5.4mm, 38% thinner than the last Nano. The new Apple iPod Nano 7G is available in seven colors; aluminum, black, purple, green, blue, yellow and red. It also features Bluetooth for wireless audio streaming. Along with this all, it comes with the recently announced “Light Connector”.

Next comes the iPod touch; Apple calls it the 5th Generation iPod touch which is just 6.1mm thick and weighs only 88 grams. No doubt, its the lightest and slimmest portable media player I even seen. Aluminium is at its back and the resolution is almost as same as that of iPhone 5.

The new iPod touch 5G comes with A5 chip which definitely aims to take gaming experience to the next level; 7x faster gaming as compared to its previous model. Apple also demoed the game ”Clumsy Ninja” which is self-aware and fully interactive character. The more we play with the ninja the more will it be trained for simple combats.

The new iPod touch 5G also features iPhone 4S like 5 Megapixel “iSight” camera, but it also comes with 360″ Picture-Capturing Panorama feature which iPhone 4S lacks. Also a 720p camera for the FaceTime HD camera on the front is present. Well on its body, there’s a button called “iPod touch Loop” with which you can attach a little wrist strap to the back if you like. Here comes another major update; Siri for iPod Touch 5G. Finally, the new iPod touch 5G would be available in 5 colors including raw aluminum, black, blue, yellow and red.
