Apple iPad mini Preorders Begin Today for Shipping from November 2: $329 for 16GB, $429 for 32GB, $529 for 64GB
Of course, this week was the busiest one for those who are interested in Cupertino based Apple. The company announced new iPad mini and new 13 inch Retina Display Macbook Pro along with 4th generation iPad and updates of Mac mini and iMac in its well crowded media event on November 23. Today, iPad mini preorders go live on Apple’s official web site for shipping from November 2. As for pricing of new 7.9 inch iPad mini that weighs only 0.68 and is almost thinner than a pencil, Apple offers various prices for variants. iPad mini comes for $329 for 16GB, $429 for 32GB, and $529 for 64GB. Apple with start shipping of the first batch of new smaller tablets to customers on Nov. 2 and will make it available in-store at 8.00 AM.
However, people willing to have an iPad mini with 4G capabilities added on, will have to wait a little bit more. For the same storage capacity options as the Wi-Fi-only model, the Wi-Fi + 4G model will cost at $459, $559, and $659. Apple has already announced that orders for 4G iPad mini will ship in “mid-November” for Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint variants.
Notably, the new iPad mini features a 7.9-inch (1,024-by-768-pixel resolution) IPS LCD, A5 dual-core processor, dimensions of “200 x 134.7 x 7.2mm,” a 5-megapixel-iSight camera, 1.2-megapixel FaceTime camera, and a weight of 308g.
