Apple to Launch 7 inch iPad in August, New iPhone 5 in September and 10 inch iPad in Q4 2012
Apple is planning to launch well rumored 7 inch iPad (Mini) in August, New iPhone (iPhone 5) in September and a new 10 inch iPad by the end of the running year, according to the reliable sources in Apple supply chain as reported by DigiTimes. Notably, DigiTimes has a well reputation of breaking true news about Apple and its products. So the timeframe described by the site is being considered seriously in all tech zones.

The site report is based on the sources related to Pegatron, an alternate assembly partner to Foxconn for Apple products. The report claims that Pegatron has received orders for both a new iPhone (iPhone 5) for September release and a new 10 inch iPad scheduled to launch “in the fourth quarter” of this year.
We think that timeframe for releasing new iPhone in September is quite logical and shows that Apple is planning to go back to “One Year Interval” between iPhone versions. As iPhone 4S was launched in last October, the release of iPhone 5 in September seems well aligned with Apple plans.
However, the release of a new 10 inch iPad in last quarter of the year appears quite contrary to Apple’s traditional iPad launching intervals, the company usually brings iPad updates yearly around the March-April timeframe. A late 2012 launch of a new “10-inch iPad” apparently coming as a next-generation version of the current “New iPad”, and it is obviously shorter time span for brining an iPad update.
Now come to another interesting claim by DigiTimes; Foxconn will be a manufacturing partner for a 7-inch iPad scheduled for release in August. We have already reported various reports speculating such an iPad Mini in third quarter of 2012, and this claim seems well aligned with the previous ones.
So far, Apple officially never uttered even a single word about an iPad Mini model with smaller form factor and majority of tech analyst believe that Apple is just toying with the rumors of this device and actually it has no plan to release such a device.Apple, iPad, iPhone
