Apple Plans a New Smaller Dock Connector on iPhone 5!
iMore just reports that Apple is going to introduce new smaller dock connecter in near future by ditching the traditional dock connector currently being used on its iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices.
We’ve heard that Apple is getting ready to ditch the dock connector as it’s currently sized and implemented on iPods, iPhones, and iPads. The reason isn’t anything political, like a new desire to conform to an outdated micro-USB standard, but typically Apple: to save space inside the iPhone 5 for what are now more important components. /i]
The site suggests that the major reason behind Apple introducing a smaller dock connector is to add significant internal space, making it spacioyus for accommodating 4G LTE chip.
Interestingly, we have already reported about Apple plans for bringing out smaller dock connectors for its iOS products line especially at the debut of iPhone 4S. Also, Apple is anxiously looking for a revolutionary way of charging their iOS devices too.
We think if Apple’s next generation iPhone 5 comes with new smaller dock connectors, the company will essentially provide an adapter for the convenience of its fans to still allow use their older accessories.
