iTunes Match Beta-Apple

Apple has just seeded iTunes Match Beta to developers for the first time through an email for developers to update to iTunes 10.5 Beta 6.1. iTunes Match is, in fact, a great feature that enables you to store your complete music library in iCloud, letting you to stream your music collection anywhere, anytime, on any iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or computer.

It should be noted that iTunes Match Beta is available to download only for the developers living in the USA. All Beta subscribers will be given iTunes Match service during the beta period with further 3 months for free for their 12 month paid subscription.

For enjoying iTunes Match just download the current version of iOS 5 beta and iTunes 10.5 beta 6.1 along with iTunes Match. Once installed, select Turn On iTunes Match from the Store menu, and click “Subscribe for $24.99.”

Also, it is highly recommended that you must preserve a local backup of your iTunes library with any music you add to iCloud as well. Apple will occasionally retune your iCloud library during the beta and it is essential that you backup your music frequently.

Notably, at this stage you wouldn’t be able to experience a few features and optimizations of iTunes Match since it is a beta version so far.

You can download iTunes Match Beta from this direct download link.
