Apple Tests QXGA, Full HD (2048 x 1080) Display iPad 3!
Here is interesting news for iPad lovers; Apple Next generation iPad-iPad 3 would feature QXGA graphics & a screen resolution of 2048×1536 pixels rather than 1920×1080 pixels, and by doing so it would kiss the milestone of full HD. Apple is already in contact with Samsung and LCD for quality testing. It should be noted that these two firms are the world’s best firms in LCD display manufacturing.

Apple is said to be well determined for limiting its relation with Samsung to the lowest level in spite of the fact that currently Apple is very much dependent on Samsung components. Samsung is the major manufacturer of the components used in Apples iOS devices including memory chips, processors, and LCD screens. However, Apple didn’t care about it and it filed a patent lawsuit against the Korean hi-tech giant- Samsung for copying Apple iPhone and iPad in the form of Samsung Galaxy S and galaxy tab.
The Samsung and LG LCD displays are being tested for quality check at a Chinese lab. The inside sources claim that Apple has asked to the both companies to provide iPad screens with improved image density and quality, and that the testing process would be carried out at some stage during Q3 of this year.
Sources clearly report;
“Apple’s upcoming iPad 3 will feature an improved display to support quad extended graphics (QXGA), a display resolution of 2048×1536 pixels with a 4:3 aspect ratio to provide full high definition (HD) viewing experience’’
Samsung’s OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) screen technology has failed to make its way to popular brand gadgets since it has shorter life and becomes grimy with the passage of time. Though, it has been incorporated in some latest devices but most of them have a smaller screen size less than five-inch, and is not meeting the standards required for high quality LCD screen;
“Another drawback is the current OLED technology is not at the level to realize a full HD viewing experience, which is important for tablets,’’
However; Samsung and LG both acquire highly-advanced LCD technology and are quite apable of producing high-resolution QXGA screens up to 9.7 inches, thanks to “advanced production technology based on the use of low temperature polysilicon.”
This news is the replica of the previous ones that suggest; Apple is going to release next version of the iPad-iPad 3 HD later this year. An iPad with such a huge screen resolution would enough to win the hearts and souls of tech junkies, especially professionals would take it as a hot cake as these extra pixels would encourage them to do some work of “Extraordinary Nature”.
