The site refers their reliable sources in Apple supply chain for getting this information about ultra high resolution MacBook Pro, exactly carrying double 2880×1800 pixels than current 15” Pro models with 1440×900 pixels .
We have already learned that Apple is planning to fit Retina Display high resolution screens on their next Macbook Pro, but we were not expecting their launch as soon as in Q2 2012.
In fact, we have reported the launch of Intel’s Ivy Bridge processor that is quite capable for supporting resolutions as high as 4096×4096.
Another advancement Apple has done meanwhile is the incorporation of a new “HiDPI” modes in Lion that also supports this resolution-doubling mode. Apple has even offered ultra-high resolution artwork in Lion with desktop images at 3200×2000 pixels and icons at 1024×1024 pixels.
