First Benchmarks for New Macbook Pro and Macbook Air 2012
Apple has released new Macbook Pro and Macbook Air 2012 with some wonderful new features and highly boosted performances of the said devices. Many thanks to Primate Labs for pushing out very first benchmarks of these new Macbooks including the slim and chic new retina display Macbook Pro. The benchmarks of new notebooks 2012 introduced by Apple will help you to know all the key features and the performances of the devices for comparison and for making your mind which device is better for your use as per your requirements.
In order to see how much of a performance boost the new models bring, I’ve collected 32-bit Geekbench 2 results for all of the models available on the Geekbench Browser. I’ve then compared these scores against the scores for their 2011 and 2010 counterparts.
If you’re not familiar with Geekbench 2, higher Geekbench 2 scores are better. Also, keep in mind that Geekbench 2 only measures processor and memory performance; it won’t measure the benefits of new video cards or storage devices.
