BitTorrent App on iPhone and iPod touch
Every day a new star rises on the horizons of technology and development making us like an astonished person with a loud “Wow” on his lips and a great pleasure in his mind. So guys we are also trapped in the same situation with the shocking news “Apple approves Bit Torrent App for iPhone and iPod touch”
Torrents are made for downloading large files especially Videos, Movies, Games, and Animations. BitTorrent is a Peer- to- Peer (P2P) communication modus operandi (Protocol) for large files sharing on net. Torrents are easily available on net on almost every subject and field.
BitTorrent is also a well known company working in the business of developing and managing torrents based on BitTorrent Protocol.
Now coming back to the point we are pleased to inform you that Apple approves BitTorrent App for iPhone and iPod touch. It is a BitTorrent based App approved by App store in the name of IS Drive. IS Drive allows you to manage your torrents through ImageShack on your iOS phones. It should be also noted that the similar app was available on Cydia for jailbroken iOS smart machines, but was called as Jack Torrents.
It is also interesting that Apple has refused straightly to approve such type of app in the past. We think that it might be the result of Apple Relaxed Policy for App Store that had also ended the conflict between Google & Apple created on Google Voice App Issue. Now IS Drive is an ImageShack Premium App only approved by Apple up to date.
App’s official Page articulates about BitTorrent (IS Drive);
This app allows you to check and manage the downloads in your ImageShack Drive account. For downloaded videos, you can even view thumbnails (if ImageShack is able to provide them).
Derek Kepner, the Developer tells the whole story to TorrentFreak;
I’m on dangerous ground here, and I know that, I’ll probably add a search feature where it’s up to the user to manually add the torrent site they want. The app will not be designed to easily break the law and I hope no one intends to do so. But if a user is determined to break the law, what business is that of mine or Apple’s? They could do the same in Safari anyway, right?
Right. My dear Kepner you are absolutely right. Hitechanlaogy is totally agreed with your point of view.
IS Drive is available at App store for downloading, just for $4.99.You have also an option to manage your uTorrent Downloads through BitTorrent’s iOS web interface.
