Burning an iPhone 5 in a Samsung’s Microwave Oven? An Interesting Experiment

Though the fact has been established by a drop test that iPhone 5 is the hardest and toughest smartphone in the world, yet some very interesting things are yet to be done. If you have got a ‘damaged and scratched’ new iPhone 5 by spending pretty bucks and time, what you will do? I think a microwave oven will be the first wave that arises in your mind. The man who luckily succeeded to get a new iPhone 5 exactly did the same and also taped its video …..and what happened here’s the whole story for your kind pleasure.

First of all, he said to camera;

Caution:

‘Remember unless you’re a professional microwave operator with at least 30 years of qualified professional microwaving experience do not attempt these experiments at home under any circumstances whatsoever at all.’

Putting all safety manual aside, he placed his brand new iPhone 5 into a microwave and turned it on.

Within a blink of 40 seconds, the smartphone began to crack and then got fire with a single flame and then it ruptured into a ball of flames in the very next moment.

Keeping the iPhone 5 inside the oven for the next three minutes, it exploded with water before being removed from the oven with a spatula.

But amazingly enough, though the new iPhone 5 was turned completely into a blackened object but it was still intact.

And for your surprise, the man who burned the iPhone 5 in the microwave oven has put the blackened device on eBay for sale with a price tag of $3,001.

The YouTube video of the whole event has got more than 15,000 views, uploaded yesterday, with suggestions from viewers on why you would microwave an iPhone, costing from $199 to $399.

We think that the most convincing reason is just to film it, upload it on YouTube and eBay, and to earn some pretty bucks and name from this publicity stunt. But the man ignored one very point scoring aspect, it he used Samsung’s microwave oven for burning an iPhone 5, it would be more interesting and convincing.

One Reddit user reacted vigorously over this nasty event;

On the other hand, hundreds of Apple haters have liked this action and are praising the boy like a hero; many of them have suggested burning iPhones in Samsung microwaves.
