Comex Invites Jailbreak Community to Ask Questions about Jailbreaking! I Am Comex, I made Some Jailbreaks AMMA

Comex, the creator of some valuable jailbreak tools like JailbreaakMe and Spirit, is now hired by Apple and he is going to start his new career as an intern in a few days. Comex just started a thread on Reddit where he is answering the questions raised by jailbreak community about jailbreaking and his career as a a prominent jailbreaker.

After your internship with Apple and after iOS 5 is officially released, will you continue to support the jailbreak community by providing exploits?

No, But I’ll want to jailbreak my phone, so I hope someone finds them.

Can you give any insight on how apple views the Jailbreak communities mods?

I have no idea.

Another big name of jailbreak community Saurik (The Creator of Cydia Platform) also joined the thread and he payed his tribute to Comex with a few appreciating words;

I am “saurik” (http://test.saurik.com/proof/), and I will vouch that “comex” is actually comex.

In reply to a question about his earnings through jailbreaking activities, he clearly told;

I’ve made a good amount of money through donations, which is mostly being used to help pay for college. JailbreakMe 2.0 was like $40,000; 3.0 was $15,000 (not quite sure why it decreased).
