Google Chrome 14

Google has just pushed out a new stable Google Chrome version with full screen mode & overlay scrollbars to stable Chrome channel. Notably, this new Google Chrome 14 version was already available to developers only in the dev channel since August, where developers were allowed to use the full-screen mode (Ctrl+Shift+F) and overlay scrollbars inside of Lion. Today, Google released the said handy features for all tech junkies, as well.

Interestingly, Google has incorporated two new technologies in this new stable version: Web Audio API and Native Client. With Web Audio API developers are allowed to add different fancy audio effects, while with Native Client developers become able to execute C and C++ code in the browser.

In this new version of Chrome 14, Google has introduced a couple of new attractions. New version adds support for new OS X Lion features: Overlay Scrollbars, and Full-screen mode, and the Chrome Web Store has expanded worldwide to 24 new countries including Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Here is also a video demo of this new stable version of Google Chrome 14 for your viewing pleasure to learn more about Native Client SDK.
