First Video of LG Nexus 4 and Android 4.2 Leaked Online

Google has cancelled its media event in New York City due to Hurricane Sandy where the company was going to reveal a 10 inch Samsung manta (Nexus 10), Android 4.2, and much rumored  LG Nexus 4 smartphone. But no way to be disappointed, first video of LG Nexus 4 and Android 4.2 has been surfaced online, as reported by TNW.

Many thanks to 3Sverige for uploading this LG Nexus 4’s hands-on video with much excitement showing the device from almost every angle, enlightening a glossy black and chrome color scheme and a little obtruded volume rocker.

Though, Nexus 4 grabs the same rounded edges as Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus has, but it comes in a fresh, thin LG design.

At present, the video has been moved to ‘private’ section on popular video sharing site; you can still watch the first video of LG Nexus 4 in courtesy to the TNW.

Most interesting and significant aspect of the Nexus 4’s video is the first look of  Android 4.2 version in which  apps and shortcuts that are saved to the homescreen can now be loaded into folders jus alike iOS – which can then be opened and launched with a single tap. The first video of the Nexus 4 also reveals a remarkable app drawer, which has fresh animations at any time you flick left or right, along with a well-prompted app switcher and minimalist status bar that can be pulled down from the top of the screen for speedy settings adjustments, such as screen brightness and Wifi toggling.

Interestingly enough, this hands-on video of Nexus 4 has been leaked on the same day initially scheduled for Google’s Android Event   in New York and later on cancelled for Sandy, as described in the first paragraph of this post.

At present, Google uttered no word about  its media event; whether the event will be rescheduled; analysts also expecting  32GB version of the Nexus 7 with HSPA+ 3G support, and a new 10 inch Manta tablet.

LG Nexus 4 is mostly rumored to feature a quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon processor, 4.7-inch 1280 x 768 display, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera (and 1.3-megapixel front-facing snapper) and a 2100mAh battery as well.

Google has just announced the release date of LG Nexus 4 on November 13.
