Geohot-Sony War: Geohot Received Huge Donation from Microsoft to Fight against Sony

There is no need to repeat Geohot -Sony’s war story again on these pages since we have covered all its bits here in our previous posts.Simply,a few days ago Geohot launched its official site for collection of donations which he begged for fighting against Sony’s lawsuit in the court. Now the early response of his appeal came on the web by encashment of first tranche of donations which are huge in amount. Among the folks who helped Geohot by their donations, there are some mega companies who add their share in this fund raising campaign against Sony by Geohot- the hacker of the day.
As reported by EverythingHQ ,it seems that the significant amount of pretty dollars received directly from Microsoft by Geohot.
If you remember guys, Microsoft is the company who has previously asked Geohot to utilize his hacking and jailbreaking abilities in the favor of Microsoft. In fact, Microsoft was interested to pick Geohot for working with them to design a new security software for preventing Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 operating system from the access of hackers and jailbreakers.
By fundinga huge amount to Geohot, Microsoft has made it clear that they want to thwart the legal action taken by Sony against Geohot on jailbreaking their PS3 device.
Microsoft! You are doing something like adding fuel to fire. But it should also be kept in mind that this fire might catch your company too. Sony will never spare you, indeed.
