Google Plans for Amazing Google Maps Experiences on iOS Devices

Though Apple has officially divorced Google Maps by the release of iOS 6 with the introduction of their own 3D mapping solution ‘Apple’s Maps’, yet Google is planning to tease Apple with introducing a standalone app to provide an ‘amazing’ Google Maps experiences on all iOS devices as disclosed by the company’s SVP Jeff Huber through his recent Google+ comment.
We look forward to providing amazing Google Maps experiences on iOS.
It is good news for the folks who were the fans of Google Maps on their iOS devices, as company’s standalone app for iOS will prevent them from iOS 6’s specific mapping.
Moreover, Google has also offered lower pricing for its Google Maps API due to the fact that there are some major defects in their mapping service.
Google Maps app for iOS devices will likely be released in near future because at this stage Apple’s Maps app is totally impractical for users. Also, it is expected that Google will bring its navigation feature to iOS platform which is only available to Android users at present.
