Higgs Boson Discovery at CERN Finally Passes Critical Scrutiny Tests
It was the warmth month of July when the scientific world heat up with an astonishing discovery of Higgs Boson- a subatomic particle which is known as a greatest recent achievement in physics, But the particle Higgs Boson didn’t get any scientific validity by any reliable authority at that time and many expressed their views full of doubts and disbelieves about Higgs Boson discovery at CERN.
However, the results obtained from CERN experiment were published in a peer-reviewed journal, and the discovery of Higgs Boson now has gotten scientific validity by passing critical test of scientific scrutiny.
Teams from CERN, the international research organization on the Franco-Swiss border, published their discoveries Monday in Physics Letters B just after passing a critical review by the scientific community.
Though, passing peer review tests does not itself applies on the proof of the existence of Higgs Boson, yet it is another milestone for the CERN scientists and researchers and results in overcoming the necessary hurdles the team was previously facing just to “meet benchmarks of accuracy and openness,” as per a latest report by the AFP.
World’s scientific community will further carry out some other essential tests in this regard to ensure whether the particle is Higgs Boson or not and for determining what the particle actually is?
