While talking about smartphone operating systems, nobody can deny that Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android are the best on in this regard. Though Window Phone is also gaining popularity and acceptance from smartphone lovers, but yet it would take much time to come to the level at which iOS and Android now stand as globally recognized operating systems. The comparison between iOS and Android on the basis of running HTML5 based content has been evaluated with various standard and well known benchmarks, which shows the edge of iOS devices over Android ones since those perform better than their rival devices. Samsung Galaxy Nexus was only one Android phone that stood somewhat better in the presence of iOS devices though still behind in performance while running HTML5 based files on the system.
