Siri has already been ported on iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G (only GUI). Recently the entire Siri package along with its all beauties has beenhacked onto iPhone 4/iPod touch4G with all functionalities but still no ETA has been announced. However, we are here with a guide telling you how to install Siri on your old devices like iPhone 4 and iPod touch.

As you know it well that Siri is the most powerful feature of iPhone 4S which has arrested the whole world with its efficient, blunt, and accurate responses over a wide variety of questions by the users. It was first time revealed publically at Apple’s iPhone 4S launching ceremony and after iPhone 4S release, Siri became the sweet “Personal Assistant” of all those who experienced to deal with it. Long Live Siri………Long Live Technology.

Now Install Siri GUI On iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G:

Note Please:

This guide is only for educational purpose and we didn’t attempt personally this hack for porting Siri on iPhone 4 or iPod touch 4G. We also don’t recommend installing Siri on your iPhone 4 or iPod touch 4G if you’re not well familiar with hacking process. Proceed at your own risk only.

Step-1:

First, you have to Jailbreak your iPhone/iPod touch on iOS 5 using Redsn0w or Sn0wbreeze.

Step-2:

You would also require some download files for porting Siri iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G. This should be done by youselves only; we would not provide here those file names due to some legal restrictions.

Step-3:

Now with the help of file explorer for your iOS device, copy over the AssistantServices.frameworkfolder you downloaded in previous Step-2 to Root > System > Library > PrivateFrameworks after plugging in your device to your computer via USB.

Step-4:

Then move all files from the Springboard folder in Step 2 to Root > System > Library > CoreServices > Springboard.app on your iOS device.

Step-5:

With iFile (from Cydia), open the .plist file for your iOS device fromSystem > Library > CoreServices > Springboard.app. It will be named N81AP for iPod touch 4G and N9x for iPhone 4 (where x may be 0, 1, 2).

Step -6:
Now add a new property list named assistant to the .plist file and set its class as Booleanwhile setting its value as YES.

Step-7:
Finally, add the following to the .plist file:

<key>assistant</key><true/>

Step-8:
And…….respring your iOS device. That’s all. You have installed Siri’s GUI successfully on your iPhone 4 or iPod touch 4G.

If still something is questionable to proceed accurately, here is a video demo for your convenience.
