iPhone 3G/3GS 6.15.00 Baseband Downgrade is Imminent: MuscleNerd

It was previously reported that MuscleNerd, the well known iPhone developer and hacker of the iPhone Dev Team, is keenly working on discovering a tool for iPhone 3G/3GS 6.15.00 baseband downgrade. Today, he proudly announced through his Twitter page that he has just made great progress in his work. In technical words; folks who are officially unlocked and upgraded to 6.15.00 for the unlock, can downgrade back to 5.13.04, allowing them for both an unlock via ultrasn0w and GPS working!

We think, it is great news for the owners of iPhone 3G/3GS who have stuck at 6.15.00 with no GPS and are in search of a tool for restoring their baseband. We also expect that MuscleNerd will soon release this useful tool to his fans.
