First iPhone 5 Benchmarks: iPhone 5 Outscores Samsung Galaxy S III and All Other Android Phones
Finally, first iPhone 5 benchmarks conducted by Geekbench have hit the web through Primatelabs showing the full supremacy of iPhone 5 over Samsung Galaxy S III as an iPhone 5,2 running iOS 6 with a Dual-Core 1.02GHz ARMv7 processor and 1GB of RAM, scored 1601 marks as compared to Galaxy S III which succeeded to score only 1580 marks on the benchmark.
The site have also posted a comparison chart of benchmarks won by all previous version of iOS devices with newly released iPhone 5’s benchmarks.
The iPhone 5 benchmarks clearly endorse the Apple claims that the powerful A6 processor mounted on new iPhone is twice faster than the A5 and other processors powering the previous devices.
The most appealing aspect of the iPhone 5 benchmarks is the fact that the device has also outscored all other Android powered phones available in global tech markets.

Though iPhone 5 is going to be released to public on September 21 and any pre-release benchmark test might have dubious results, yet the iPhone 5 benchmarks seem well reasonable and valid as per the comments of Primatelabs.
