Next iPhone 5 “Bigger than Expected” to Release on 1st October via Telus-Canada!

A “little reliable birdie” inside Telus (a Canadian popular phone carrier) just revealed that the Apple next generation iPhone 5 would release for customers on 1st October, at least in Canada. As much rumored on tech sites, Apple is expected to release its new iPhone 5 update in late September or in early October if Apple doesn’t alter its plan at the last moment of its release. However, iPhone 5 release date on 1st October is surprising for the folks who are well familiar with Apple’s traditions for releasing a hardware like iPhone 5. Why? Let’s explain …
Since June 2007 when Apple released its original iPhone, Apple traditionally reveals an iPhone either on a Thursday evening or a Friday but if you have a look on calendar 1st October definitely falls on Saturday. Though it looks more convenient to release a product on weekends, Apple usually prefers weekdays instead. It means that the birdie either took this date by mistake from an internal Telus document or it is just an estimated date rather than exact iPhone 5 release date that would be revealed later.
Another possibility that strikes to our minds is; Apple iPhone 5 would be made available to customers sometimes in September in the US stores while it would actually smile in the Canadian shelves on the alleged October 1st, as per known norms that iPhone always comes to Canada several weeks later after the US release, iPhone 3G and the 3GS release should be considered as an exceptional case.
Also, Sterne Agee analyst Shaw Wu discloses that Apple’s iPhone 5 will be a “bigger update than expected”.
Some other reports also read that Apple would release next iPhone 5 in October rather than September, strengthening the source’s information. The most recent report in this concern cites AT&T’s action that stops its worker to attain leaves in the last half of September for possible iPhone 5 release in early October.
The next generation iPhone 5 has earned much attention of its fans and besides its release date as its features, specs and design all are a matter of keen interest for tech gurus and their followers.
