iPhone 5 Parts Leak: Photos of Rear and Sides of New iPhone 5?

9to5Mac has posted a set of photos of new iPhone 5 leaked parts by citing iFixyouri which claims that  it has obtained valuable information on a new part that is the rear shell for the next-generation iPhone. The part is allegedly made of an aluminum alloy that combines both the rear panel and sides for the next iPhone 5.

Remarkably, the leaked part seems well aligned with the is previous reports that the next-generation iPhone 5 would integrate a “metal panel” to the center piece of the device’s back, but actually the panel looks to simply be a different finish applied to that portion of the casing.

The leaked part also exposes the device’s edges, and a port for a smaller dock connector can be visualized, along with larger speaker and microphone grills.

According to the sources responsible for this leaked part of iPhone 5, Apple will use the smaller dock connector in next iPhone 5to take benefit of the space freed up by tiny dock connector for boosting the speaker performance in the next-generation iPhone.

Moreover, the supplier claims that the part will not be incorporated in black and white, but also in two other vague colors, though it isn’t obvious at this stage whether it would make it to final production of the device or not.

Finally, the leaked parts also depicts the headphone jack smiling on the bottom of the phone just like existing iPod touch model, instead of the top edge as found on all iPhone models till to date. This is exactly alike to a recent part leak that was claimed to be the headphone jack and earpiece of the new iPhone 5 coming in Sep-Oct timeframe.
