Today, DisplayMate posted ‘Smartphone ShootOut” that offers a broad analysis of the new iPhone 5 screen display in comparison against the iPhone 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S III and declared that iPhone 5’s display screen is the world best smartphone display ever they have seen while testing devices in their lab.
Based on our extensive Lab measurements the iPhone 5 has a true state-of-the-art accurate display – it’s not perfect and there is plenty of room for improvements (and competitors) but it is the best Smartphone display we have seen to date based on extensive Lab measurements and viewing tests.
During their vital screen test, the lab noted that iPhone 5 has lowest screen reflections, highest image contrast and screen readability in high ambient lighting and markedly superior color accuracy and picture quality than iPhone 4 and Galaxy S III devices.
