iPhone 5 Sets New Pre-Order Sales Records at AT&T with 02 Million Units within Just 24 Hrs

iPhone 5 is the latest big thing the world is looking for. Today, AT&T announced that iPhone 5 has broken the previous pre-order sales records and sets new pre-order sales records with 02 million units within 24 hours after pre-order started for iPhone 5. Notably, iPhone 5 has broken the last years’ pre-order sales record of iPhone 4S when its one million units were ordered on the very first day of its availability.

“iPhone 5 pre-orders have shattered the previous record held by iPhone 4S and the customer response to iPhone 5 has been phenomenal,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “iPhone 5 is the best iPhone yet, the most beautiful product we’ve ever made, and we hope customers love it as much as we do.”

The iPhone 5 will hit the shelves on this Friday, September 21.

Apple has started responding pre-orders by shipping the iPhone 5 units from China but due to the lack of coordination, the device will be available on stores on Friday.

The iPhone 5 fans without doing pre-orders for the device have begun lining up at many Apple Stores well ahead of its launch, though many reports claim that these are Apple paid persons who are lining up outside stores just for boosting iPhone 5’s popularity.
