Major Features of iPhone 5 Taken from Apple iPhone 5 Media Event
Here’re some of the major features of iPhone 5 taken from Apple Media Event at San Francisco;
Apple’s CEO Tim Cook takes the stage and tells;
1- There are 380 Apple stores in 12 countries, while the first Swedish store will open on Friday, making 13.
2- Mountain Lion which was released in July; 07 Million copies downloaded so far.
3- For the last three months, Apple is No. 1 in U.S. market share for notebooks.
4- Apple has sold out 84 million units of iPad between April-June;
“We sold more iPads than any PC manufacturer sold of their entire PC line. Yes we are in a post PC world.”
Phil Schiller comes on the stage to talk iPhone, he reveals following major features of iPhone 5;
5- “Today we are going to introduce iPhone 5.” The iPhoen comes up on a pedestal.
“It is an absolute jewel. It is the most beautiful product we have ever made bar none.”
6- iPhone 5 is entirely made of glass and aluminum.
7- It’s thinner and lighter than iPhone 4S; 7.6mm thin, 18 percent thinner than iPhone 4S. It weighs only 112 grams, 20 percent lighter than iPhone 4S.
8- iPhone 5 comes with a bigger 4-inch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio having fifth row of icons on the home screen. Built-in apps take advantage of bigger display, such as Safari, calendar and e-mail.
9- iPhone 5’s matchless display also has 44 percent more color saturation. Touch sensor is also integrated into the display — an emerging trend in mobile phones.
10- Other biggest features of iPhone 5 are: Faster wireless, support for all kinds of 3G radios as well as support for LTE along with two faster flavors of HSPA+.

14- iPhone 5 battery life exceeds of iPhone 4S with 8 hours of 3G talk time, 3G browsing and LTE browsing.
15- iPhone 5 Camera features 8 megapixels, backside illumination, f/2.4 aperture, five-element lens, Hybrid IR filter.
16- A dynamic low light mode, better aligned lenses and a sapphire crystal lens cover are other highlights of iPhone 5 camera. A6 chip will help with noise reduction, faster capture and better low-light performance.
