Microsoft Sets Windows 8 Final Release Date in October 2012 [Rumor]
Microsoft has almost completed its next version of Windows – the Windows 8 which is now rumored to release in October, 2012.

We know that Microsoft Windows 7 was released in October, so Microsoft may be welcoming the new Windows 8 at its predecessor’s 3rd birthday. Microsoft always launches their next version of Windows after 3 years so it could be another hint towards the Windows 8 late-2012 release. Certain people have confirmed at Consumer Electric Show (CES) 2012 that Microsoft is supposed to provide Windows 8 to computer manufacturers sometime around Q2 2012 so that Windows 8 powered devices would be ready by time to hit the PC market.

For those who don’t know, Microsoft firstly announced Windows 8 at BUILD developers’ conference. The Microsoft Windows 8 features a new tile-based “Metro” interface due to which it is fully compatible with touch screen devices. This Windows 8 unique design makes it able to run on PCs as well as on tablets in an excellent manner. However, the Windows 8 tablet version would only incorporate the “Metro” interface not all the traits of Windows OS i.e. taskbar, desktop etc. Windows 8 feature which I most liked is its little boot time as the OS starts in just 8 seconds.
At present, Windows 8 “Developer Preview” version is available for download. Windows 8 beta and pre-beta public versions are reported to launch next month with a build number of 8200.winmain_win8b1. The Windows 7 success cannot be declared in words and that’s way the OS users are showing much anticipation for Windows 8 release.
