Microsoft Surface Tablet (32GB) Sold Out in UK within a Week

Besides the fact that Microsoft Surface Tablet was made available for pre-orders on October 16, the Surface Tablet (32GB) has sold out in UK well ahead of its release scheduled on October 26.
If you visit the Microsoft’s UK online store, you will find a note by the company showing that the 32GB version of the Surface tablet without a Touch Cover — a type of keyboard/case — is “Temporarily sold out” at present.
Moreover, it is not obvious to anybody how many units of Surface Tablet were presented on Microsoft UK online store for pre-orders and when the device will be gain available on the store for tablet lovers who want to experience a Windows 8 specific a tablet with reasonable price tag.
Notably, 32GB Surface tablet without cover is the most variant of Surface, with a price tag of £399 as the same one sold with the Touch Cover cost you for £479. The most priced version of Surface Tablet is of 64GB that comes with Touch Cover for £559.
At present, Microsoft’s online stores in the U.S., France and Germany still have 32 GB Surface Tablet for pre-orders. The shipment estimates of the basic version of Surface are listed as 03 weeks, contrary to 01 to 02 weeks for the versions with a keyboard.
The addition of a keyboard with two of the three Surface variants has created a mess in tech circles questioning on the practicality of tablets for some types of users. At the stage it is hard to predict whether keyboard-free 32 GB version of Surface has been sold out in UK just for its lowest price or tablet lovers are quite uninterested in the Touch Cover version.
The tablet will officially be released on Friday, October 26 along with Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 as a part of a series of launches from Microsoft struggling for restoring the popularity of its desktop and mobile offerings, and to win again a suitable, honorable and admirable place among its high ranked rivals including Apple and Google.
