Now a latest report from Barrons reads the official statement of Verizon Wireless Mobile Carrier by citing its Chief Financial Officer Fran Shammo’s quote at Verizon Financial Conference Call today; Apple’s next-generation iPhone- iPhone 5 would be a world phone capable of connecting to both CDMA and GSM networks worldwide.

As a matter of fact, everybody knows that the existing Verizon iPhone 4 and the CDMA iPad 2 are equipped with Qualcomm Gobi chip which is quite workable for both CDMA and GSM networks.
