Pod2g Releasing A5X Untethered Jailbreak (Userland) on iOS 5.1 Within a Month

Pod2g, a famous hacker and jailbreaker, who has earlier gifted first untethered jailbreak Absinthe for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S (A5 based devices) and has revealed the iOS 5.0 and iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreaks, just announced to push a public jailbreak for A5+ iOS 5.1 devices within a month as it is now minimum weeks away to be ready for release. It should be noted that new iPad is equipped with A5X processor and jailbreak community is waiting for an untethered jailbreak for it on iOS 5.1.

“About 5.1 jailbreak for A5+ devices : it’s not out and I have no clue when it’ll happen. I’m working some hours per week on finding vulns.”

It seems that at present i0n1c has no attention to release his exploit for general public. Also, iPhone Dev Team has promised to jailbreak iOS 5.1 untethered with totally new techniques.
