Step-by-Step Tutorial to Jailbreak iOS 5 with Sn0wbreeze 2.8b8;
Step-1:
Firstly, download Sn0wbreeze 2.8b8 and grab the iOS 5 firmware .IPSW file. Make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes running on your PC.
Step-2:
Now start Sn0wbreeze 2.8b8 and click on the blue arrow to continue the jailbreak process.
Step-3:
Click “Browse” and choose the iOS 5 .IPSW file (Remember Step-1). Sn0wbreeze 2.8b8 will then verify the selected file. After verification completes, click on the blue arrow to continue the jailbreak process.
Step-4:
Choose “Expert Mode” and then select “Build IPSW” option.
Now Sn0wbreeze 2.8 will create a custom iOS 5 .IPSW file for your device (iPhone 4/3GS, iPad 1G or iPod touch) that will be jailbroken.
Step-5:
After the successful completion of this process, a done message will appear in front of you.
Step-6:
Now put your device in DFU mode by following these instructions;
- Hold Power and Home buttons for 10 seconds.
- Now release the Power button but continue holding the Home button for 10 more seconds.
- You device should now be in DFU mode.
Go for doing the following set of instructions please;
- Start iTunes; click the icon from the sidebar in iTunes.
- Press and hold left “Alt” button (“Shift” button on Windows) and then click on “Restore”.
- Don`t click “Update” or “Check for Update” button in iTunes and release the “Shift” button gently.
- iTunes prompts for selection of the location for custom iOS 5 firmware file.
- Select the requisite custom .IPSW file and click “Open”.
Step-8:
You have almost done the job at your side. Now just relax, iTunes will do the rest for you. Don`t make any move at this stage; just watch the process going on. iTunes will install the new firmware 5 on your iOS device, a progress bar indicates the installation progress.
Note Please: Your device will restart robotically just after the completion of installation process.

Step-9:

Step-11:
Click on “Start” button and follow these instructions;
