Steve Jobs Tops Fortune’s “12 Greatest Entrepreneur of Our Time” List!

Steve Jobs, a visionary tech legend and the former Apple’s CEO, tops Fortune’s ’12 Greatest Entrepreneurs of Our Time’ list, in spite a number of character flaws found in Jobs personality. Fortune reports that Jobs’ behavior might be obnoxious and unfair to some folks still Steve Jobs personality has been an iconic and exemplary for our generation; that’s why Fortune places Jobs at the top in its list of “12 Greatest Entrepreneur of Our Time”. Fortune further notes that Steve Jobs personality was composed of four elements:Visionary, Inspiring. Brilliant, and Mercurial.
Perhaps the most astonishing fact about Jobs was his view that market research and focus groups only limited your ability to innovate. Asked how much research was done to guide Apple when he introduced the iPad, Jobs famously quipped, “None. It isn’t the consumers’ job to know what they want. It’s hard for [consumers] to tell you what they want when they’ve never seen anything remotely like it.
In this list of “12 Greatest Entrepreneur of Our Time” by Fortune, Microsoft’s fame Bill Gates is placed at second followed by Fred Smith- the founder, chairman, president, and CEO of FedEx, originally known as Federal Express.
