Apple and Samsung are two rival tech companies those are battling badly to win smartphone war with their iPhone and Galaxy S flagships respectively. Did you ever think which smartphone is the toughest one? iPhone 5 or Galaxy S III? Android Authority goes for it by carrying out first drop test of both phones. They have also posted a video for your viewing pleasure to see which one is the toughest smartphone?
This morning in Hong Kong, Darcy dropped the Galaxy S3 and the iPhone 5 a total of four times, each time from an increasing height. To make our drop test more realistic, we tried to recreate the accidents that happen most often in real life. We ruthlessly let the two devices fall to the hard pavement, just to see what happens. Needless to say, it wasn’t pretty. See for yourselves. Dayum!

The site concludes after the first drop test of iPhone 5 in comparison with Galaxy S III; that iPhone 5 was quite capable of withstanding the impact due to its hard Aluminum shell and its glass protecting the display also remained unbroken. While Samsung Galaxy S III inevitably lost its back cover. Moreover its casing and the front glass also suffered considerable damage as well.
