Wordament for iPhone: Microsoft’s First iOS Game Hits the App Store with Xbox Live Achievements
Wordament for iPhone is Microsoft’s first iOS game which has hit the app store tonight with Xbox Live achievements. Notably, Wordament is one of the most popular games for Windows Phone users that was originally created from two Windows employees and finally was adopted and published by Microsoft Game Studios.
When you sign in with your free Microsoft account, you can earn up to 50 Gamerscore from our 10 achievements and you’ll have access to all of your Xbox Friends and Wordament Frenemies. If you’ve played on Windows Phone or Window 8 and jump to the iOS version, all of your player stats and friends will follow your account automatically.
Wordament is a game that deals with words and allows users to compete, with everyone else playing at the same time, in real time charms. A 4×4 Grid of letters pop up and words can be made by dragging your finger across next letters. Everyone can play Wordament on the same board simultaneously.
Microsoft is, slowly but steadily, making its place in iOS gaming space. Previously, the company presented an Xbox Live App that allows you to manage your Xbox Live account, and a few other popular iOS games including Kinectimals.
