After starting getting online orders for iPad 2 on Apple’s online store in the US a few hours ago, Apple has extended shipping estimates for new orders of iPad 2 to 2-3 weeks for all its brand new 18 models. It means that after online ordering for a new iPad 2, it will take 2-3 weeks to ship now rather than 2 to 3 days as was promised earlier.
The extended shipping estimates for new iPad 2 by Apple are applicable on all models and colors, on Verizon or AT&T loaded iPad 2, on both WI-Fi and 3G models of iPad 2.
Apple has backed to traditional shipping estimates of 2-3 weeks due to keep a reasonable balance between demands 7 supply of new iPad 2 tablet, most likely. Apple is looking forward for a high demand as compared to its launch supplies.

Most of the tablet analysts are predicting about 500,000-600,000 units of iPad 2 at its debt date; almost double to the original iPad with a sale of 300,000 units on its first day of availability for sale on Apple’s online store.
