Apple to Include Super High Resolution (Retina) Display in Mac OS X Lion!
We have previously heard a number of rumors suggesting a high resolution retina display for Apple Macs product line. If you remember guys! The Mac OS X Lion Developer Preview 2 was the first that included an ultra-high resolution version of the background desktop image at a resolution of 3200×2000. Some wise technology specialists remarkably noted that this is considerably higher than any Apple display has ever supported so far. It truly leads to a possibility; Apple is planning for “Retina” displays to incorporate it in its next Macs models.

Many tech gurus have already pointed out that Mac OS X Lion would be the first one to support such super-high resolution (Retina) display. Some folks have pointed out that Apple iOS clues to support a technically spoken HiDPI display modes which let the developers to originate 2x-enlarged images to support double-high resolution displays just like iPhone 4 Retina display. In other words, without changing the users interface element, everything would be twice the existing resolution, consequently twice as detailed.
Interestingly; MacMagazine.com.br recently reports that Apple is already trying to add super high resolution artwork in Lion version. They have discovered many icons stored as 1024×1024 sizes, much higher than previous maximum of 512×512 resolutions.
Let’s wait what comes out from the richest bags of Apple the Great in future products. Super high resolution displays is only the beginning; Apple has the powers to do more beyond our imaginations, indeed.
